Welcome to Desert Beauty Australia!
This Mammillaria species has a striking, dark green body, with short orange spines. The small red bulbs which can be seen in the pictures are fruits, each one holding seeds which can be germinated to grow new plants. These fruits develop when the flower of the plant has been pollinated. In addition to these features, small tufts of white hair can develop between the mounds on this cactus' body.
Like most cactus, this Mammillaria species grows best in a gritty, well-draining mix which allows it's roots to dry in-between watering. This plant grows perfectly well in full sun, although care should always be taken on scorching hot days to ensure it isn't scorched.
Your plant/s will be posted bare-rooted and safely packaged. If you're interested in this item, don't miss our other cactus varieties!
Please note that unless specified otherwise, the flowers on your plant may be different to those shown in pictures. Also, your plant may vary in colour/patterning from those in the pictures, due to the nature of the species' variability, different climates, and different growing conditions.
Unfortunately due to regulations we cannot post to WA, TAS or NT.
