The Euphorbia lactea cristata is a crested form of the regular Euphorbia lactea, meaning that rather than growing in branching columns with a single growing tip, this plant grows with a 'fin' or 'crest' like appearance, with growing points all along the ridge of each crest. This crested variety can revert back to regular growth, meaning that it can grow regular columns also.
Being a Euphorbia, this plant has a toxic sap that should be completely avoided. Gloves and safely eyewear should be used when handling this plant.
This variety is a lovely green colour with zigzag patterning of silver-grey, giving the plant an almost 'camouflage' patterning.
Despite its appearance, this plant is not technically a cactus but rather a Euphorbia, a type of succulent.
Like most succulents, the Euphorbia lactea cristata grows best in a gritty, well-draining mix which allows it's roots to dry in-between watering. This plant can grow in both full sun and partial shade, where it can get all the benefits of bright light without being scorched.
Your plant/s will be posted bare-rooted and safely packaged. If you're interested in this item, don't miss our other succulent varieties!
Please note that unless specified otherwise, the flowers on your plant may be different to those shown in pictures. Also, your plant may vary in colour/patterning from those in the pictures, due to the nature of the species' variability, different climates, and different growing conditions.
Unfortunately due to regulations we cannot post to WA, TAS or NT.
