The Euphorbia grandicornis, or Cow's Horn, is a succulent shrub that can grow up to 2m tall, growing in stacks of three to four-winged stems, each adorned with prominent spikes. In late spring this plant can produce small yellow flowers from its top.
Being a Euphorbia, this plant has a toxic sap which should be avoided completely by the use of safety gloves and eyewear when dealing with this plant.
Like most succulents, the Euphorbia grandicornis grows best in a gritty, well-draining mix which allows it's roots to dry in-between watering. This plant can grow well in full sun. Care should be taken however to avoid it being scorched, especially while it is still small.
Despite its appearance, this plant is not technically a cactus but rather a Euphorbia, a type of succulent.
Your plant/s will be posted bare-rooted and safely packaged. If you're interested in this item, don't miss our other succulent varieties!
Please note that unless specified otherwise, the flowers on your plant may be different to those shown in pictures. Also, your plant may vary in colour/patterning from those in the pictures, due to the nature of the species' variability, different climates, and different growing conditions.
Unfortunately due to regulations we cannot post to WA, TAS or NT.
